The Navy Guidance Test Facility in Cape Canaveral, Florida provides test and evaluation support to the Navy’s Trident Guidance System test program. Within the facility are a number a classified computer systems and networks which must remain compliant to Department of Defense (DoD) standards. The individual will report directly to the on-site Draper manager and work closely within an engineering staff consisting of Draper, General Dynamics, and Raytheon employees. The individual will have the opportunity to interpret and apply Cyber security/IA policies and procedures, conduct security evaluations, recommend solutions to problems, and work with other DoD teams to incorporate security policies into the design of DoD applications, network and systems. The individual will be responsible for the following:
Education and Work Experience Required:
Individual should meet DoD Approved Baseline Certification requirements for an IAT Level II.
Self-motivated, ability to coordinate and schedule several tasks, ability to work closely with other individuals. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in EE or ME is preferred. Experience in CS/IA field in the last five years considered essential.
Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship is required.
