The successful candidate must be a critical thinker with demonstrated problem solving/reasoning skills. He or She should be a detail-oriented self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills able to interface with various levels of internal management as well as program sponsors and sub-contractors. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team is a necessity.
The candidate will work closely with the Directorate Administrator, Program Managers, Tasks Leaders and Contracts Administrators and be responsible for Engineering Best Practice duties, including but not limited to:
- Cost and schedule analysis,
- Managing the Administration of IQMS/CMMI requirements on all programs
- Providing regular earned value (EV) reporting
- Assisting in the generation, processing, maintenance and control of classified systems
- Monitoring and generation Contract Data Requirements Lists
The candidate will also be asked to supply a broad range of financial support such as:
- Preparing internal and external financial and technical reports,
- Monitoring subcontracts,
- Proposal generation
- Forecasting current and new business, as well as resource and manpower estimates.
Masters degree or Bachelors degree with 5-10 years of directly related experience. Sound background in Engineering Best Practice/Process improvement (CMMI: Capability Maturity Model Integration/IQMS: Integrated Quality Management Systems) preferred. Proven experience with Excel as a financial tool, the Microsoft Office suite, and data management systems including MS Access, Filemaker Pro, PeopleSoft, and MicroStrategy Data Warehouse. Unites State Citizen- Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance a plus.
