Responsibilities

The System Integration, Validation, and Verification group is responsible for teaming in the design & development of complex dynamic systems using Model Based Engineering practices.  The group is responsible for integrating, validating, and verifying these dynamic systems throughout the product design cycle.  The group is responsible for providing a range of support for rapid assessment, integration, and test of complex systems.   Evaluation targets range from high-level system concept simulations, high-fidelity real-time simulations, Hardware-in-the-Loop integrations, and completed systems.

The SIV&V group is seeking an Integration Engineer with demonstrated experience developing hardware-in-the-loop systems.  A strong understanding of hardware & software development, simulation, dynamics, control theory, and hardware interfaces is required.  A working knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink, NI/LabVIEW, Python, or other simulation and hardware/data acquisition interface tools, in Unix/Linux and Windows environments is also desired.  The individual should be familiar with interface specifications for SPI, I2C, MIL-STD-1553, RS232, RS422, and Ethernet.  Understanding of synchronization protocols such as PTP is also desired.  

The individual must have a strong interest in developing hardware-in-the-loop systems , be a highly motivated, self-starter with willingness to learn and participate in an exciting team environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills at a technical level are required.

Qualifications

BS, MS, or PhD degree in electrical engineering, or a relevant technical field of study with 8-12 years of experience.

Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
