Responsibilities

In this role you will be developing new system concepts, shaping new ideas, leading proposals, and planning and directing R&D programs.   You will represent Draper to sponsors and collaborators as a subject matter expert, and help to identify, attract and mentor talented new staff members.  You will also investigate emerging technologies and advise on their engagement.

 

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have solid understanding of an important phenomenology, such as underwater acoustics, radio propagation or medical imaging; coupled with ability to apply a broad range of modern signal processing techniques. 

  • Strong communication, collaboration and presentation skills are a must. 

  • Prefer a PhD in science or engineering, with 10+ years of domain experience.

  •  

    Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
