  • Responsible for establishing, leading and integrating a comprehensive Information Assurance (IA) function for multiple Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) programs.
  • Must manage the processes required for the development, implementation, and maintenance of numerous classified computer environments that support multiple program requirements across a dynamic organization.
  • Will be required to integrate the Corporate Special Programs IA Program with other security disciplines as well as having responsibility for ensuring all classified computing assets are properly accredited/approved and maintain required compliance and risk management standards.
  • Responsible for the standardization and implementation of an IA education program to ensure compliance with classified operating requirements.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of a geographically separated IA team and infrastructure.
  • Lead and mentor talented team members to ensure the current and future success of the IA program. Actively participate in the recruitment of "A" players to further enhance team performance.
  • Responsible for establishing and managing direct charge labor and material costs for all Special Programs IA projects across the organization.
  • Develop relationships with and interface regularly with numerous cognizant security agency representatives and customers.
  • Will promote daily contact with high level program management, engineering staff, IA staff, and other security and program personnel to resolve IA related issues.
  • Should be able to communicate effectively, have excellent organizational skills and be able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.



  • 5-7 years of directly related experience. 
  • DoD Directive 8570.1 IAM Level III certification. (CISSP preferred)
  • Active TOP SECRET//SCI security clearance with polygraph.
  • Previous experience as an ISSM implementing NISPOM Chapter 8, DIACAP/NIST RMF, JAFAN 6/3, DCID 6/3, ICD 503, and/or JSIG requirements.
  • Leadership and project management skills confirmed through related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience conducting security analysis to include security categorizations and risk assessments.
  • Relocation is not available for this position.

This position will require a Top Secret Security Clearance.
