  • The Systems Engineering Division is seeking an engineer with broad technical skills to contribute to the conceptualization, development, and analysis of strategic Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) systems.  


  • The individual will participate on guidance system design teams and will support project Systems Engineering teams in test, integration, and deployment activities. 


  • In addition, the individual will contribute to the development and analysis of future concepts, architectures, and technologies for next generation GN&C for strategic weapon systems.   


  • The individual will also participate on the test facility design and development team and will contribute to the development and analysis of innovative new concepts, architectures, and methodologies for missile design, integration, and test – including testbeds and simulation-based test platforms. 


  • Individual will support business development activities including proposal writing and technical demonstrations.  


  • Strong technical background and ability to learn important aspects of strategic guidance system design under the supervision of a senior engineer are required. 




  • Knowledge of systems engineering methods, particularly in the application of these methods to complex system design, is desirable.  Experience with simulation-based integration and test is strongly desired.  Minimum MS degree in Aero/Astro, Electrical Engineering, or Applied Physics.


  • Ability to engage with internal hardware and software teams with expertise in embedded electronics, materials, mechanical design, algorithms, software and VHDL to plan and execute development activities


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with engineers, management, and other stakeholders of all relevant disciplines are required.  Flexibility to multi-task and adapt to changing technologies is a must.


  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.


  • Applicant must be willing to travel 25-50%.
