The candidate will develop software, focusing on user interfaces and other user-facing components, for cutting-edge systems sponsored by the US Government and commercial customers as well as IRAD projects. The candidate will work as part of a user-centered design team and will be expected to participate in both user research and UX design. The candidate will primarily be responsible for design and implementation of UX software – both prototypes and production systems.  Areas of work include:  big data analytics, decision support tools, multi-person collaborative systems, and context aware situation awareness tools.  Specific projects may be built for web, mobile devices, or thick client. The ideal candidate is an assertive self-starter, engaging colleagues and building ideas in a team-centered environment.



  • Experienced software developer and architect, with depth in user interface design patterns and best practices
  • S.B/M.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other software field or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with a UX team or in User Interface software
  • 3+ years experience in software development and architecture
  • Creative individual, collaborative team player, outgoing, self-starter, entrepreneur
  • Depth in one or more of the following technology areas: full-stack web development, Unity, Android, Java, C#, PyQT
  • Solid experience with Agile development
  • Good written and spoken communication skills.


This position will require the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.  Main requirement for a security clearance is  US Citizenship.
