Responsibilities

Provide hands-on technical leadership in the development and support of enterprise budgeting, planning and forecasting solutions based on the cloud-based IBM Planning Analytics platform / IBM Cognos TM1, including PAW and PAX / TM1 Web and TM1 Café.  Application solutions will include project-based budgeting, corporate budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling.

 

Essential Functions

  • Work with functional representatives to gather and analyze business requirements
  • Design, document and implement appropriate application solutions and enhancements
  • Work with colleagues to integrate information among IBM Planning Analytics, PeopleSoft ERP, Dassault Systems 3DX applications
  • Participate in determining standards and best practices
  • Transferring knowledge to and supporting functional resources
  • Ensure a stable, reliable and credible set of application solutions

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated experience developing solutions with IBM Cognos TM1 tools including TM1 Web and TM1 Café
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Undergraduate degree in a related area or equivalent work experience is required

Additional Desired Experience and Skills

  • Experience with PeopleSoft ERP and/or Dassault Systems Enovia / 3D Experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working in a government contracting and/or project-based environment
  • Cognos TM1 product certification
  • Experience with Cognos Enterprise Planning
  • Cognos Business Intelligence tool experience
  • Ability to foster working relationships with peers
  • Excellent analytical and research skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work on projects with minimum supervision while adding value to cross-functional teams
