  • Handles Shipping / Receiving / Tracking of high value material
  • Responds to afterhours alarms
  • Provides Escort duties when needed
  • Processes incoming and outgoing visit requests
  • Prepares briefing paperwork and in limited cases conducts prepared briefings and debriefings
  • Responds promptly, courteously and professionally to Laboratory personnel and subcontractor requests and/or inquiries
  • Develops and/or updates all processes for Security-related tasks
  • Performs administrative task as required by the Security Department
  • Enters information into various PC based databases, such as SIMS and JPAS
  • Use of classified government sponsored networks for secure email, database queries \and file transfer
  • Assists with the preparation of files, reports and presentations (records, documents, and personnel forms) often requiring the use of Microsoft Office


  • Superior communication and computer skills, proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) is required
  • A self-starting, organized, and detail-oriented individual is desired
  • High School diploma with two to four years work experience
  • Good typing ability, aptitude for details, strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Current minimum of Secret security clearance, with ability to receive and maintain a Top Secret /SCI security clearance
  • Basic knowledge of  DoD SAP 07,  DoD 5105.21 Manuals, DCID/ICDs and similar regulatory manuals
