Draper is seeking a highly-skilled Senior Vulnerability Researcher/Exploit Developer to join a team developing state-of-the-art vulnerability analysis tools and proof-of-concept exploits for cyber-physical embedded systems


Required Experience :

  • Strong experience with C, C++, and Assembly (x86, ARM, etc)
  • Strong understanding of low-level computer fundamentals, assembly and processor architecture
  • Experience with exploit development for proof of concept demonstrations
  • Experience with fuzzing, crash analysis and runtime instrumentation (IDAPro, WinDbg, OllyDbg, etc)
  • Understanding of static and dynamic software analysis tools and techniques
  • 8+ years relevant experience


Additional Desired Experience:

  • Reverse engineering on multiple architectures
  • Electronic Skills (soldering, in-circuit debugging)
  • Bus and Protocol analysis
  • Hardware Reverse Engineering
  • Windows, Linux, Android, iOS kernel experience
  • Low-level system security / programming (e.g. kernel, driver, hypervisor, secure boot)
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering

This position will require the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.  Main requirement for a security clearance is US Citizenship.
