Under minimal supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, the candidate will provide varied administrative support to the Vice President of Engineering. Ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient. Maintains a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
The candidate must possess strong computer, communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate’s duties will include coordinating Outlook calendars, scheduling and arranging meetings/events, making travel reservations and preparing associated paperwork, ensuring all policy and procedures are adhered to.
The candidate will generate, format and proofread documents which are often complex and technical in nature, including correspondence, reports, presentations, memoranda, tables, and charts while ensuring grammatical consistency.
The candidate will be responsible for answering and screening telephone calls and resolving routine and complex inquiries. On a regular basis, the candidate will interact and work effectively with Human Resources, Engineering, Finance and Administration, Security, and the various Programs’ organizations and personnel.
High school education with 7 to 10 years of progressively responsible experience or Associate degree/college graduate with 5 to 7 years required.
Superior communication and computer skills, proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) is required. Experience with PeopleSoft and Data Warehouse is preferred.
A self-starting, organized, and detail-oriented individual is desired.
