    The candidate will support Draper's efforts in the development of real-time, highly reliable embedded system software for Cybersecurity applications.  We are looking for a highly qualified software engineer in the areas of

    • Embedded software design
    • Hardware interfaces and driver development
    • Real time kernels and Real time operating systems

    Activities will include work on design, implementation, test, and integration of embedded software systems, with emphasis on their application to Cybersecurity applications. Extensive background working on Cybersecurity programs required.


    M.S. or B.S. in EE/CS or equivalent and 10 years' experience. Candidates should have a technical background in one or more of the following disciplines:

    • Development of real-time systems using Linux, VxWorks, C/C++,  and assembly language is required.
    • Knowledge of compilers, make files and linker scripts is required as is experience with in-circuit emulators, JTAG debuggers, and laboratory test equipment such as logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
    • Skills in cybersecurity, secure communications, multi-level security, and fault tolerant systems is desired. 
    • Sound development and integration skills are required, as are excellent problem solving, debugging, and communication skills.

    Ability to obtain a secret clearance is required


    This position will require the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.  Main requirement for a security clearance is  US Citizenship.
