    This individual will be working at the Navy Guidance Test Facility on the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The assignment will be in direct support to the Navy’s Trident Guidance System test program, working within the Data Systems and Flight Test Support group. The individual will report directly to the on-site Draper manager and work closely with other engineering staff consisting of Draper, General Dynamics, and Raytheon employees.


    The individual will be performing tasks ranging from data processing, working with engineers to assist with Guidance System performance analysis, development and integration of future data systems, and provide support to the Navy’s submarine launched Trident missile flight test program. Some travel to off-site locations will be required.


    The individual will be responsible for the following:

    • Data processing, analysis, and management.
    • Generating scripts to improve current processes and develop future capabilities.
    • Work within engineering team to provide information critical to analysis of Guidance System performance.
    • Work closely with engineering staff located at the Draper headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts to implement future data systems.
    • Operate computer systems in support of missile flight testing.
    • Ability to travel for short periods, typically less than one week.


    Education and Work Experience Required:


    • BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering related field.
    • MATLAB and Java programming experience.
    • MySQL/Oracle Database experience.
    • Experience with C++ and LabView are a plus. 
    • Self-motivated, ability to coordinate and schedule several tasks, ability to work closely with other individuals.



    Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship is required.
