The Navy Guidance Test Facility in Cape Canaveral, Florida provides test and evaluation support to the Navy’s Trident Guidance System test program. Within the facility are a number a classified computer systems and networks which must remain compliant to Department of Defense (DoD) standards. The individual will report directly to the on-site Draper manager and work closely within an engineering staff consisting of Draper, General Dynamics, and Raytheon employees.
The individual will interpret and apply cybersecurity policies and procedures, conduct security evaluations, and develop and implement solutions to problems. The individual will provide assistance to Draper staff to resolve issues with unclassified work station computer systems. The individual will have the opportunity to continue their education in the IA/Cybersecurity field.
The individual will be responsible for the maintenance of all classified computer systems and networks to include the following:
Education and Work Experience Required:
Minimum DOD approved IAT Level II Certification.
Recent experience working with DOD IA/Cybersecurity standards.
Self-motivated, ability to coordinate and schedule several tasks, ability to work closely with other individuals. Five years of experience in the IA/Cybersecurity field preferred.
Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship is required.
