    Draper's Analytics and Human Systems business area combines advanced concepts from Computer Science, Data Science, Social Science, and Human-Computer Interaction to build and transition novel analytics and behavior understanding technologies for improved threat detection, activity tracking, and counter deception.  Draper is especially focused on geospatial reasoning using non-traditional data sources.

    The Program Manager/Business Developer will be responsible for identifying, capturing, and growing customer opportunities, managing customer engagement, and leading transition of Draper’s innovative solutions to NGA and other US national intelligence agency customers.


    The Program Manager will:

    • Spend time onsite at potential sponsor organizations (e.g., NGA and other IC organizations) and at other engagement venues to learn about and report on the most pressing needs and technical challenges for these organizations in geospatial reasoning;
    • Use her/his technical background to identify and qualify Draper’s capabilities that may have a significant operational impact for these needs and technical challenges;
    • Develop personal credibility and professional relationships with members of these sponsor organizations;
    • Develop new and continuing business and funded activities with these organizations;
    • Lead proposal efforts, including the development of work statements, schedules, budgets, and compelling technical approaches for these customers;
    • Manage programs to meet technical, cost, and schedule objectives; and
    • Work effectively with a geographically distributed team and/or other collaborators for business development and program execution.


    This position requires 7-12+ years of experience.
