    Draper has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Staff Assistant to join our team.  This position will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, working under minimal supervision providing administrative support to the Vice President of Engineering. This position will interact with employees at all levels, he/she must be able to work in a fast paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.


    Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

    • Strong computer, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Experience with the Coordination of Outlook calendars
    • Scheduling and arranging meetings/events for internal and external customers
    • Arranging of travel reservations and preparing associated paperwork while ensuring all policy and procedures are adhered to
    • Generate, format and proofread documents which are often complex and technical in nature, including correspondence, reports, presentations, memoranda, tables, and charts while ensuring  grammatical consistency.
    • Answer and screen telephone calls, resolving routine and complex inquiries  
    • On a regular basis, Partner with Human Resources, Engineering, Finance and Administration, Security, and the various Programs’ organizations and personnel
    • Provide coverage and collaborate with other executive staff team members


    • High school education with 7 to 10 years of progressively responsible experience or Associate degree/college graduate with 5 to 7 years required.
    • Superior communication and computer skills, proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) is required.   Experience with PeopleSoft and Data Warehouse is preferred.
    • A self-starting, organized, and detail-oriented individual is desired.
    • Applicants selected for this position may be required to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
