    • Performs skilled laboratory work under close supervision of senior technical personnel (exempt and nonexempt).
    • Under limited supervision, perform cleaning, maintenance , and/or calibration of laboratory and equipment requiring skilled knowledge. 
    • With adequate training and supervision , perform work of an essentially repetitive nature for production of deliverable hardware.  Such work shall involve moderately complex manual skills and the operation of moderately complex automated or semi-automated equipment. 
    • With limited supervision, carefully documents their own work consistent with work unit  policy in hand written form or using common computer-based software such as MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, etc. 
    • At the discretion of the supervisor , performs focused training to enable progression into higher skilled positions. 
    • Other temporary assignments at the discretion of the supervisor.


    • Either graduation from a two year  technical school or two years of applicable experience.
    • Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
    • Familiarity with SMT assembly tools and technics is preferable. 
    • Hand soldering skills are preferable.
    • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferable.
