    This position will be located in Cambridge, MA. The candidate will be responsible for simulating, analyzing, and designing aerospace navigation systems. The simulation work will involve modeling vehicle dynamics and navigation sensor systems. The analysis work will involve covariance analysis, Monte Carlo analysis, and sensitivity analysis. The design work will involve developing, testing, and tuning estimation algorithms, and integrating them into close-loop guidance, navigation, and control systems.


    • Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
    • Strong background in linear systems and estimation theory
    • Experience simulating aerospace vehicles and sensors
    • Proficiency in the following languages and tools: MATLAB and Simulink
    • Familiarity with GPS and inertial systems is desirable
    • Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
