Draper is seeking a candidate to lead a diverse, multi-disciplinary team of fifteen to twenty staff developing new autonomous systems technology. The individual will report to the Division Leader of Software for Autonomous Systems, and as part of the management team, contribute to the overall Autonomy Research Area strategy. The AGN&C Platform Software Group focuses on the advanced development and fielding of autonomy software on a wide range of space, air, ground, and undersea platforms. This includes integrating software solutions into government and commercial customer platforms and ensuring compatibility with appropriate open standards and architectures. The candidate will be expected to lead the team to effectively collaborate across Draper business and engineering organizations, with particular focus on successful project execution. Management responsibilities include hiring, staff career development, performance management, and yearly salary adjustment and bonus decisions.
