Draper, a technology and system development company, is seeking a Program Manager to support Secure & Assured Programs within the Defense System Division. The program manager will responsible for capture and execution of DoD acquisition programs with typical annual revenue of $10+ M. She/he ensures achievement of financial, schedule, technical and business performance objectives while transitioning technological solutions that enable mission security.
Critical technical areas include: secure and assured electronic systems, including cybersecurity, anti-tamper, and trusted microelectronics. A broad understanding of the application of these technical areas to defense weapon systems is required.
The Program Manager is an integral part of the Defense Secure & Assured Systems team, under the oversight of the Director, and supports all phases of program development including establishment and management of customer relationships, leading activities from discovery through capture including guiding technical concept/solution development of innovative technology, leading proposal teams, securing contracts, and delivering solutions to sponsors.
The Program Manger will:
10 years DoD program management, systems development, operations or acquisition experience. MS degree highly preferred, however, extensive career experience is an important factor.
Mission Relevance: Successful candidates will have experience with foreign military sales and/or direct commercial sales.
Business Relevance: Successful candidates will be able to influence and shape technology development opportunities with the DoD government and industry stakeholders.
Technical Relevance: Position requires knowledge of current and evolving technology in secure and assured electronic systems, and its applicability to weapon systems.
