    Draper is seeking a hardware-in-the-loop integration and test engineer. The candidate will be responsible for guidance, navigation and control (GN&C) flight software integration and test in a laboratory.  Relevant experience with hardware/software development, integration, test and execution as a member of a multi-faceted team is needed.  The candidate will guide a team to design, develop, and execute integrated testing in the laboratory to support GN&C flight software and hardware qualification.  Experience with test equipment, instrumentation, and test software is required.



    Applicants must have the following key qualifications:

    • An M.S. degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline (computer engineering, aeronautical engineering, electrical engineering, etc.)
    • 20+ years of relevant professional experience;
    • Demonstrated experience in technical and/or organizational leadership, including building and executing large scale DOD (or other national level R&D) programs;
    • Hardware-in-the-Loop integration and test experience
    • Experience with the following languages and tools: Matlab, C/C++, Python, Labview
    • Knowledge of flight control computers, GN&C sensors, and hardware/software integration
    • Experience with relevant data system interfaces including MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet, serial, discrete and analog interfaces
    • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex technical ideas to a broad audience;
    • Ability to set an organizational vision and achieve results;    
    • Willingness to travel as necessary.
