Draper develops complex prototypes systems and works with outside companies to transition them to production. As a Senior Manufacturing Technology Transfer Engineer, the candidate will work with Draper Engineering and outside manufacturers to assure deliveries of high reliability product to Draper customers. The candidate would be involved in quality systems, reliability testing and test planning, failure analysis including failure modeling, as well as manufacturing readiness level qualification.
A B.S or M.S. in material science, chemical mechanical or electrical engineering, reliability engineering, or manufacturing engineering plus at least 5 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated expertise in technology transfer to manufacturing as well as experience in a manufacturing leadership role is desirable. Technical experience in reliability engineering, semiconductor processing, failure mode investigations, and process modeling is also desirable. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to brief non-technical audiences, are required.
