Draper Laboratory is seeking talented and motivated individuals to tackle challenging engineering problems. As a Digital Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering solutions to customers in diverse application areas including hardware security, secure communications and trusted computing. You will be responsible for the design from concept to delivery while adhering to schedules and budgets. The successful candidate will lead and contribute to the architecture and design of secure digital systems incorporating FPGAs and ASICs. The candidate must have experience with cryptography, fault tolerant computing or hardware security. Applicants should also understand high level design, simulation and verification and be familiar with tools and process flows supporting design and verification for digital ASIC / FPGA efforts. Demonstrated skill in the design and development of digital systems is required.
The applicant must have an M.S. or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with a clearly exceptional academic record, a firm grasp of engineering fundamentals and 4+ years of demonstrated experience in secure hardware design, cryptography, digital circuit design, digital printed circuit board level design principles, or VHDL/Verilog design.
