Responsibilities

In this role, you will play a principal architectural role in designing data structures that enable performant transfer of myriad data types to provide real-time collaboration and situational awareness in a map-based application. You will use your breadth of experience in programming and the software development lifecycle to assess various technologies for their worthiness in providing solutions to meet our customer's demanding requirements.

This position requires regular travel (>25%) for customer meetings, conferences, and test events as well as a current US security clearance or the ability to obtain one.

The following may describe you:

 

- has 15+ years designing, building, and maintaining data structures and databases

- has 7+ years leading software development teams, assigning tasks and guiding less experienced engineers

- has worked with customer or company management to identify requirements and needs and demonstrated an ability to consistently deliver software products that delight the customer

- can apply good software practice in most every situation regardless of the language or technology being used to solve a problem

- has a proven track record of orchestrating and managing micro services in the cloud at scale

- has significant experience developing back-end web micro services (e.g. node.js, Kotlin)

- desires a high-intensity, highly collaborative environment

- has contributed to, or led, open source projects



Security Requirement

Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
