The ideal candidate will be an experienced supply chain risk management professional that will develop and oversee  a supply chain security management program.   As a strategic lead and subject matter expert you will work in a cross functional team to form policy/procedure and advise corporate, program and customer teams on supply chain risk management best practices, regulatory requirements, and known threats.  The selected candidate will also lead and support the development of assessment strategies, tools and approaches to identify, assess and manage supply chain risk and resiliency challenges as well as support the development of procurement strategies.   Responsibilities - Fully utilize established System Security Engineering (SSE) processes to perform Supply Chain Security (SCS) activities for contracting, acquisition, logistics, sustainment and decommissioning operations, as well as sustainment throughout system lifecycles. These include, but are not limited to the policy, process, planning, monitoring, vendor selection and execution of packaging, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T). - Develop, analyze, present and use collected SCS metrics and risk scorecards to proactively inform program and policy decisions. - Develop and implement appropriate controls into SCS practice and systems that evaluate SCS regulatory compliance, identify and counter potential threats and vulnerabilities to mission critical components and support initial and recurring security assessments at Draper and program suppliers. - Perform SCS-related program and system vulnerability and risk analysis. The Associate Director, Security is responsible for Draper’s special program operations and multiple cleared off-site facilities. The Associate Director, Security is responsible for ensuring the cleared off-site Facility Security Officers (FSO) are compliant with government directives and requirements as a designee of the Corporate FSO. This role is responsible for directing and managing for all Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) program security operations. The Associate Director, Security primary responsibilities will require subject matter expertise in national security policies and procedures and demonstrated implementation experience in managing and developing executable strategies with measurable results. An in-depth understanding of security regulations as defined in the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07 series, DoDM 5105.21 series, Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), and the ICD-705 Technical Specification is required. The Associate Director, Security is required to provide training, guidance, and clear expectations throughout the function, in addition to, providing clear, timely, and effective communications with internal and external customers. The Associate Director, Security will partner with peer Associate Directors who manage functional areas such as the enterprise-wide shared services, physical security, security education and awareness and insider threat programs. The candidate will execute corporate and departmental missions, goals and objectives with prescribed priorities, on schedule and within established budgets. Develops, implements and validates established corporate security policies, procedures and programs; performs self-inspections, and ensures all aspects of the NISP are compliant and complies with national and company-wide policy to include federal, state and local regulations. Determine root cause, in close coordination with regional office FSO’s, and implement compliant and lasting solutions. - Direct and manage the self-inspection program for special programs and cleared off-site locations in close coordination with regional office FSOs in preparation of government inspections. - Conduct routine senior management reviews of self-inspection documentation to ensure quality completion. - Coordinate and collaborate with government and industry oversight agencies to facilitate inspections/audits of security programs and systems. - Partner cross-functionally with executive leadership, program leadership and support functions. - Direct and manage the processes and procedures for incoming and outgoing special program contracts, statement of work, DD254's and task orders to determine security requirements are adhered to and implemented, and disseminated as required. - Be active in industry peer group conferences, meetings and bring “best-in-class” solutions to Draper.
