Draper is conducting a nationwide search for an enthusiastic engineer to lead the Integrated Circuits Architecture Group. Our IC design groups enjoy the challenge of designing integrated circuits for extreme environments and unique applications – from outer space to inside the human body. They engage with engineers and scientists from all of Draper’s divisions in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment. This group architects analog and digital application-specific integrated circuits (ASIC) for national security, space, biomedical applications, and more.   This is an IC architecture design engineering position that requires the ability to apply sound engineering principles for the leadership and execution of development projects within the Electronics Division at Draper. The Microsystems Integration Group is seeking a microsystems engineer to apply engineering principles to the development and testing of miniaturized electronic and microfluidic devices for research, biomedical, commercial, and national defense applications. The role will support multiple interdisciplinary programs and will require a candidate who is comfortable conducting experiments, analyzing data, and presenting results. The HWIL & Visualization Group is responsible for developing dynamic simulations for rapid assessment, integration, and test of complex systems. Simulation applications range from high-level behavioral simulations to visualize and evaluate system concepts within SysML models to high-fidelity real time simulations and Hardware-in-the-Loop infrastructure to support development, integration and test of Draper systems.   The HWIL & Visualization Group is seeking an Engineer with skills applicable to developing software models in MATLAB, Simulink and C++ and executing real time simulations in a Linux environment.  A key responsibility for this position involves taking Simulink models and following a structured process to generate source code that will target a real time simulation environment.  Previous experience following a requirements based Systems Engineering process is required.  This position will be part of a fast paced team environment with an opportunity to work on a range of defense projects critical for our nation.
