The Microelectronics Group at Draper consists of about a dozen motivated engineers developing analog, mixed-signal, and RF application-specific integrated circuits (ASIC). We are looking to add new members to our team who are capable of specifying and architecting chips, designing circuits using the Cadence tool suite, leading small teams, and interfacing with engineers and physicists in an interdisciplinary environment.   This position is Part time Eligible and Remote eligible. The role is also eligible for full benefits working 20+ hours/week.

Draper is conducting a nationwide search for a highly innovative engineer/scientist with significant experience in astronomy, advanced imaging, Keplerian orbital mechanics, and Kalman filtering techniques. Key responsibilities will include concept definition, system design, characterization, and analysis of novel optical and imaging systems. The candidate will participate in developing and validating electrical, optical and signal/noise models for a variety of imaging systems, and will contribute to the specification of subsystem components and image processing algorithms consistent with application requirements. The candidate will also develop test procedures, construct specialized test equipment and perform field-testing of devices and systems.
