The Draper Information Technology Services is seeking a strong candidate to provide Executive IT support to Draper’s senior leadership team as well as serve as an IT Asset Coordinator managing the accuracy of our IT asset inventory. The position is responsible for first and second level problem determination, problem/incident recording, problem resolution, and problem escalation as well as handling install, add, change activities for our Senior Leadership team.   The role requires use of technical expertise, knowledge bases, Draper Subject Matter Experts, and remote support tools to provide “first call resolution” as often as possible for a variety of problems to support internal customers’ computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications needs. Support will also include wireless and wired networks, client/server systems, PC laptops and desktops, desktop application software, and peripheral devices. 24 hour on-call availability may be required to address after-hours issues.   Additionally, serving as the IT Asset Coordinator, primary responsibilities will include monitoring and updating the Hardware Asset Management system.  Tasks would include utilizing the IT endpoint management tools, end-users, and IT Subject Matter Experts for infrastructure to resolve any ownership, location, or equipment status inconsistencies.  Responsibilities also include providing metrics on asset consumption and inventory on a regular basis, as well as coordinating and tracking equipment return during offboarding process, including tracking and end-user reminders.  The successful candidate will have a strong customer service and technical background within a dynamic IT environment.  They will be a well-organized, systematic problem-solver with a proven ability to communicate ideas and develop business relationships. Large enterprise IT delivery and familiarity with ITIL standards to ensure Draper continues to provide best in class services to our business customers are a plus.   Essential Functions: Executive IT Support - Provide first and second level problem resolution for senior leadership experiencing hardware, software, and OS problems or have questions.  - Resolve as many user-reported problems on the first call (or within one business day) as expertise permits using available tools and following procedures and policies for the handling of support cases.  - Leverage remote tooling to best support a hybrid and remote workforce. - Track progress and status of all tickets to ensure follow-through; assign ownership of tickets. - Perform account/group management regarding user permissions and access levels for Active Directory objects - Proactive monitoring of all service requests and incident tickets in scope to ensure all are addressed within SLA.   - Ensure all software related requests are addressed properly and are in compliance with licensing agreements. - Provide On-Call “outside of regular business hours” availability of executive support when necessary. - Advise colleagues and management on trouble areas that become clear through day-to-day monitoring of calls; suggest opportunities for training, documentation, etc. - Act as a liaison between customers and technical escalation teams /subject matter experts - Thoroughly document routine and non-routine issues for other subject matter experts to address or investigate expeditiously. - Serve as an escalation point for the Draper Deskside Support team as well as an interface between Deskside Support, Operations and Desktop Engineering. - Maintain a customer satisfaction score for services provided of 90% or more for executive support.
